RE: Diesel vs gas......................

O.K. I prefer Diesel, so I pull a VW TDI Jetta behind the Cheetah. Sure hope that the high fuel prices will stimulate greater fuel production!

RE: On The Road To Alaska

Oh, by the way, DO NOT get your windsheild fixed BEFORE you go to Alaska! Trust me.... Been twice, want to go again.

Allison transmission key pad has a cold!

It's several degrees below freezing and the coach has been sitting there for a while. Starts up fine, BUT won't shift into any gear, no matter how many times I push Fwd, Rvs, etc. I can push 1/4 inch into the elastic key pads, but nothing! Is this because of the cold? (I've put on the furnace and that hopefully will solve it) Has anyone ever experienced this. Or is a backer plate come loose and no contact is made. (Does it have a backer plate behind the keys?? This is a '94 Imperial.

RE: Diesel vs gas......................

Here's the K.I.S.S. priciple of Diesel vs Gas; Horsepower determines vehicles top speed, Torque determines how fast you'll get there.

RE: Do you have a name for your RV?

We name our RV the "Merrie Yacht", a play on my wife's name. I is a happy ship, true! So our new RV is the Merrie Yacht II. JJ
